Extended shallow water equation for two-phase flow and invariant finite difference scheme

Abstract
A new shallow water equation is derived from the equation of two-phase flow to simulate coating processes of nanoparticles. To simulate the shape of the coating surface precisely, invariance of the Galilean transformations and the similarity transformation of the new shallow water equation plays an important role. A finite difference scheme whose first differential approximation is invariant to the transformations isproposed. The scheme produces a good numerical result.
