Abstract
The entropic chaos degree is a criterion to measure chaos introduced from the point of view of information theory. It was shown that the criterion gives almost the same evaluation as Lyapunov exponent gives for a chaotic behavior. On the other hand, it might be difficult to distinguish between chaotic and quasi-periodic behaviors only by the criterion. In this paper, I consider how to treat quasi-periodic orbits by using the entropic chaos degree.
