Abstract

Abstract. An electric vehicle routing problem is to find an optimal route with minimal travel cost in which electrical shortages do not occur. In this paper, we present a localsearch-based metaheuristic algorithm for finding near-optimal solutions. Computational results are also presented in which actual operating conditions are simulated. These results show good performance of our algorithm.
