We examine a new algorithm for calculating the excited-state properties of quantum many-body system with the auxiliary-field Monte Carlo method by extending it to multiple dimension. In order to see the validity of the algorithm, we have applied it to the exactly solvable Lipkin model. We have also examined an improved algorithm.
