Abstract

A report to the Copyright Committee of the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan, in January 2010, recommend to introduce the fair use clauses only in a few selected areas. The relationship of this report with the 2008 report to the Council for Intellectual Property Promotion was discussed, as well as similar laws in other countries.
