In recent years, data science has been attracting attention, and all university students, regardless of humanities or sciences, are required to study mathematical and data science at the elementary level. However, in liberal arts faculties, the introduction of data literacy courses is a particular issue. In this study, we analyze the changes in students' awareness and knowledge due to the introduction of data literacy education in the liberal arts department of our university, and discuss the issues obtained from the results.
