Abstract

Work style reforms and remote work have worsened workplace stress and burnout, making it essential to accurately monitor employees’ emotional states to boost efficiency, safety, and mental health. This study compares recent advances in multimodal emotion recognition and its applications, highlighting each modality’s benefits and practical strategies. However, issues such as insufficient training data and privacy remain, necessitating future work to address these challenges and enhance workplace well-being.
