This paper investigates operationalization of Dynamic Capabilities (DC). After conducting a quantitative analysis of 842 related articles, we examine DC operationalization on empirical models. The results indicate that the theoretical background how to handle OC and DC, and/or research settings where to focus on the bundle of organizational process (IT, NPD, SCM, sourcing, knowledge management, and decision making), causes messy, and often inconsistent implications.
