Abstract
In this paper, we have a discussion regarding a context change in zone design which orientates value adding, taking into account the expansion of the concept of space, based on the ZTCA design model which is one of the zone design models. Regarding the expansion of the concept of space, taking it from both spacial expansion and spacial reduction point of view, we will be discussing how to make use of the ZTCA design model considering the characteristic of each targeted space.
Also, the zone is expanded to the world or even the whole earth, and the concept of zone design is evolved. At the same time, micro-level zone design will be applied. Based on it, characteristics of zone design are to be presented for spacial expansion including outer space and cyber space.
