Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop software that enables one to easily draw figures in various poses with Power Point in order to help make teaching material in the form of a story. For this purpose, I have developed a VBA macro that works as follows: [1] If one chooses any shape (diagram) in Power Point and right-clicks on it with the mouse, a selection screen for the illustration of a figure will appear. [2] Next, if one chooses a favorite pose and clicks it. the chosen shape will be converted into a character in the clicked pose. Since users draw the parts of the characters such as legs, head, and a torso, separately, and combine them in various angles into one pose, they can easily add their favorite characters and poses. In addition, since a figure is a combination of shapes from Power Point, they can easily release grouping and edit them. There is, however, one restriction in that figures can only be drawn in profile.
