Three cases of psoriatic arthritis are reported. The first case was a 43-year-old male in whom the onset of the arthralgia had been proceeded five years before by psoriasis vulgaris. The involved joints were mainly the DIP joints of bilateral hands. Roentogenographic examination showed erosions of the terminal phalangeal tufts. The second case was a 45-year-old male. Psoriasis had appeared 10 years previously, and arthralgia of the left big toe seven years later. Nail change of the toes was recognized and roentogenography showed basal expansion of the left first distal phalanx. The third case was a 24-years-old female. Her arthralgia occurred three months after psoriasis had appeared on her scalp. Bone scintigram showed abnormal accumulations in her bilateral feet, right calcaneus, and right knee. Roentogenography showed a periosteal reaction of the basal phalanx of the right third toe. In all cases, a serological test for the rheumataoid factor was negative. Examination for HLA was performed. All the patients were controlled with the administration of NSAIDS.
