Doctor Kaino was one of the founders of Japanese Association of Sociology of Law and he taught the sociology of law as professor of the Tokyo Metropolitan University. He then was inaugurated as the first president of the Tokyo Metropolitan Reseach Institute for Environmental Protection and played an important role in the prevention of environmental pollution. He also wrote extensively on legal matters.
In our reports we intend to examine the doctor Kaino's task and methodology of science of law through his accomplishments.
