Abstract
Cases of light injury in the eye were introduced. A 13-year-old boy had a reversible central scotoma and morphological abnormality on the outer layer of the retina by thermal injury from a laser pointer. A 15-year-old boy had irreversible visual loss and retinal atrophy by photochemical effect of a light emission diode. A 33-year-old man had a transient ocular pain, abnormal sense and minimum abnormality on the outer layer of the retina by photochemical effect from solar eclipse observation.
