Abstract

We synthesized liposomally formulated phospholipid-conjugated indocyanine green (ICG-lipo). Using the ICG-lipo and a broad band light source or diode laser, we tried to treat against 15 cases of animal spontaneous deep-seated occurring tumors. Irradiation was performed for 20-60 min and its intervals were every day or 3 times per week after injection of the ICG-lipo. Outcome of criteria due to RECIST was followed, CR: one case, PR: eight cases, SD: five cases, PD: one case. QOL was improved in all cases with PR and SD. There was no severe side effect.
