Ruby Laser Therapy for Pigmented Disorders at and around Eyelid

Abstract

There are several method of therapy for pigmented disorders at and around eyelid.
We have treated these disorders, for example, nevocellular nevus including devided nevus, sinile lentigine, melasma, nevus spilus and nevus Ohta with ruby laser. And we have gotten better result than the result of other part of body.
Why ruby laser is effective to these disorders at and around eyelid, we don't understand acurate reason.
But one reason we think is skin at this area is the thinnest of all part of human's body. So the light will be able to reach and be absorbed directly.
