From October 1985 to September 1986, twenty one patients who had anorectal diseases were treated with CO2 laser and YAG laser at Nanasato Hospital. 14 had hemorrhoids, 3 had perianal abscess, 2 had fistula-in-ano, one had hidraadenitis suppurativa and one had rectal carcinoma. Results were excellent and hospital stays were short.
