Abstract
The present case is one of the rare cases of bronchial foreign body caused by a piece of pin. In such a case, the pin is usually very easily broken, and the broken; end tends to be left inside during the operation to remove it in many cases. In this case, fortunately, the pin was removed successfully without breakage of the foreign body or lung infection. The case was discharged from the Clinic within a short period of time, and no complaints were heard from the patient since then.
This is one example to prove a favorable application of penicillin solution dropped into the bronchial lum ina in the course of operation to s remove bronchial foreign body
