Abstract
A case of postrubella encephalitis accompaning by delirium, exanthema, and hyperaesthesia was reported.
The patient, 40 year-old male, completely recovered by the administration of steroid, antibiotics and γ-Gl.
In the labolatory findings of this case, the serum IgE levels measured by the radioim-munoassay (sephadex method) were 2300 IU/ml and 1040 IU/ml (normal value 1000 IU/ml) . The cerebrospinal fluid specimen disclosed antirubella antibody 1: 32 by hemoagglutination inhibition titer.
