Abstract
A 13-year-old girl was anesthetized two times with 10 days interval for the operation of abdominal wall abscess. At the first time anesthesia, no adverse reaction was observed, but as the second time anesthesia, 10 days later, erythama, local heat and slightly decrease blood pressure was noted, probably caused by Low Molecular Weigh Dextran.
In the recent past two and half years, among 3240 anesthetic cases whom dextran were administered, such kind of side effect developed in 38 cases.
