Abstract
A stabilograph is used to quantify a body sway of a vertigo patient but this is not useable while a subject is not standing still. We researched to measure method of a body sway with 3 axis accelerometer. In this study, ECG and accelerations of vertigo patients and healthy subjects were measured, and body sway and ANS activity were analyzed. The original ECG monitor with accelerometer was used to measure. A variation of resultant vector of 3 axis acceleration was analyzed each step. A trajectory of body sway was analyzed by second order integration of acceleration. ANS activity was analyzed by HRV. Differences of these data between vertigo patients and healthy subjects were validated.
