Abstract
To achieve health and longevity, not only physical functions but alsocognitive and emotional functions should be maintained. The authorsare approaching this by developing a photo slideshow system forpersonalized life review and reminiscence. Our system implements a personalized cognitive model based on acognitive architecture to create a sequence of photos automatically. From users' private photos or photos relating to users' life history,a semantic network of memory is constructed and implemented into themodel. Such a personalized memory model can be used to predict users'cognitive and emotional reactions including memory retrievalprobability, latency time, and emotional arousal. Furthermore, in oursystem, parameters of the model are modulated by users' reaction tophoto presentation, using electroencephalogram (EEG) and pulse oximeter. The authors so far have been constructed a preliminary model by usinga private photos owned by the first author. In the presentation, theresults of simulations will be presented. We will also discus amechanism connecting the model parameters and a real-time stressdetection.
