Abstract
(Introduction) The living body uses osmotic pressure for circulatory regulation effectively. We do a study to convert this chemical quantity into mechanical actuation. We will study that the stimulating device on cells by our device.(Purpose) We have fabricated a permeable membrane for the separation of solute, and osmotic pressure measurement. And it is important that the permeable membrane have a performance suitable for purpose. Therefore it is useful information of behavior of the dissolved substance between the permeable membrane if visualization is easily possible.(Method) If a permeable membrane is buried in the paraffin and exposed only 1 direction, it can control a diffusion direction of dissolved substance. When the glucose in the permeable membrane dips into the silver nitrate solution made to complex with ammonia, silver is precipitated by reduction of an aldehyde group of the glucose. This silver prevents from transmitting the light, which this can measure the diffusion distance and the diffusing capacity of the glucose by image processing. (Results) We were able to visualize a diffusion phenomenon between glucose concentration 1%-5%.
