Abstract
Nursing environment is front line of medical scenes. A lot of medical incidents happen at the environment. Most of the incidents can be prevented using automatic identification system for individuals like a patient, staffs and some types of medical supplies. Wireless communications are able to provide automatic identification technology for medical use individuals. Passive RFID tag is convenience to identify the individuals. Especially, UHF band passive RFID tag system is useful. Hands free operation system for identification can be realized using the UHF band passive RFID tag system. An electric field intensity of the passive tag system is kept low level enough to operate in most of the medical scenes.
By the way, microwave oven uses high level electric field to warm up several foods in most of home. Even in sick ward, the home use microwave oven is used. The electric field of the microwave oven is shielded theoretically. However, high level electric field is measured in the ordinary home use microwave oven. It is considered that the electric field analysis of the microwave oven is important to maintain the safety level of the medical scene.
