Abstract

Imaging with photoacoustic techniques are broadly classified into two types (I. Microscope type and II. CT (Computed Tomography) type) according to their application. Among them, CT types such as a photoacoustic measurement dedicated type and a multimodality (ultrasonic / photoacoustic, fluorescence / emission / photoacoustic) measurement type have appeared on the market. Under these environment , US FDA approved Imagio (US / OA) of Seno Medical Instrument for the first time as a PMA (Pre Market Approval Application) device for breast cancer testing in Jan. 2021. So we will introduce the principle, function, various application examples, etc. including the data measured by TriTom imaging of PhotoSound Technologies in USA for measuring small animals with the multimodality function (fluorescence / emission / photoacoustic), which is one of the models, and its experience.
