Science and technology for society where we can have and raise children safely if we want

Abstract

Why I can't bear a child instead of my wife? Why childbirth is limited by age? Why only women bear the burden? Today's ultra-low birthrate society is abnormal for the nature? To grow children and to pass them to the next generation is a universal desire? I often find many pains in the scenes of pregnancy, childbirth, and child rearing. There is many sad news about postpartum depression and child abuse. What science and technology can do? Children are the future itself. Thus, science and technology to support fertility, childbirth, childcare etc. should be invested more. Of course, there are ways of life that do not involve having children. The important thing is to have choices. I would be happy if we could discuss what science and technology can do to realize "a society where everyone can have and raise children with peace of mind if they wish.
