Abstract

Magnetoencephalography (MEG) analysis requires specialized analysis software provided by MEG manufacturers. Such software, however, does not catch up with the latest analysis techniques, and MEG users are using third-party software to analyze MEG data. Third-party software developers need to support the data format defined by the MEG manufacturers. We have been providing software developers with APIs for reading our MEG data in MATLAB, C/C++, and Python, considering using GitHub and standardization by MEG-BIDS. In this presentation, we introduce the development trends in major open source MEG analysis software and the RICOH/YOKOGAWA's MEG data format.
