Abstract
We reviewed the sewage sludge incineration ash generated in Iwate Prefecture as relates to its use as an asphalt blend filler for pavement material. Results from the review on safety, physical properties of incineration ash, and asphalt mixture performance indicated that Iwate Prefecture's sewage sludge incineration ash can be used as an asphalt blend filler.
