Abstract
To establish the purification method of the dioxin-contaminated soils over the wide surface area though which have low concentrations of dioxin, the characteristics on the dioxin degradation by white-rot fungus "Phlebia brevispora TMIC 33929" was examined. As a result of the degaradation experiment by putting into the Kirk liquid medium extraction of one of the organic-rich soils, it was confirmed that such soils contained some ingredients with inhibitory influences of bioremediation. As for the obstruction with organic-rich soils, there was a possibilty that this inhibitory influences came not from a physical action like adsorption but from a chemical functioning according to the elution of soil components. Moreover, it was thought that the element had exerted the inhibitory influences other than the growth inhibition.
