Abstract
The actual status on the usage of "station" collection point by elderly households was analyzed based on the load amount of waste set-outs for combustible waste bag in one district in Fukuoka city, Japan. As a result, it was guessed that the permissible value existed in the load amount of waste set-outs, and the change in the waste set-outs such as multi using a smaller capacity of waste bag when about 50 meters of moving distance was exceeded to decrease the waste set-outs load. The maximum value was 1,076.1(kgm/household/week) and extremely high values were indicated from the complicated road shape on the narrow width roads. It may be necessary for such elderly households to improve the waste collection and transportation course or the location of the waste collection point.
