Abstract
The waste biomass to liquid process using fast pyrolysis technology is promising due to its advantages. Hence, the study for fast pyrolysis process analysis is vital for scale-up and optimized design of the system. Thus, in this study, fast pyrolysis process analysis was conducted with two-stage, semi global reaction mechanism. All of equipments of the fast pyrolysis system were modeled, which were biomass feeder, pyrolysis reactor, cyclone, condenser, and electrostatic precipitator, etc. From the simulation results, with changing the reaction temperature, the tar yield is firstly increased and then decreased. But char and gas yields are increased. Also, the study of the fast pyrolysis process analysis needs to be conducted with other pyrolysis mechanism models for comparison in the future.
