Abstract

The purpose of this study are to consider operation issues in secondary temporary storage site for treatment of Debris from the Great East Japan Earthquake, to get implications for next operations expected in Nankai Trough Quake. In addition to existing empirical knowledge, three implications are got; 1st Advisability of utilizaion of harbor facilities give critical impacts to mobility for debris, especially transportation to other region to cooperate in the disposal. 2nd Cooperaiton in normal period in terms of waste management is supposed to form the basic relationship of regional disposal system which are composed by plural cites in an emergency, including decision making. Finally, establishment of recycle plan in advance is essential factor in order to make cooperation with private sectors which have capacity to treat and recycle debris.
