Estimation of regional biomass flows in Kochi Prefecture by physical input-output table

Abstract

A physical input-output table for biomass in wet weight, dry weight, carbon and nitrogen was compiled in Kochi Prefecture by summarizing mainly statistical data. 380 million tons of biomass and water flows were estimated in FY 2007. Environmental emissions from biomass utilization and disposal were also estimated.
