In recent years, in addition to aspects of sanitary treatment and reduction of environmental load, high-efficiency power generation by waste has been required in waste treatment facilities. As for high-efficiency power generation at municipal solid waste treatment facilities, steam conditions of 4MPa x 400°C have been generalized as boiler specifications in recent years, but there is a need for higher efficiency. Against this background, a new "combustible waste incineration facility" was completed at the Kuwana Wide Area Cleaning Business Association/Resource Recycling Center (nickname: Recycle Forest) in Mie Prefecture on December 31, 2019. This facility is a municipal solid waste treatment facility by incineration, and has introduced a high pressure and high temperature boiler of 6MPa x 450℃ to realize highly efficient energy recovery. In this report, the outline of this facility and the actual operation data of the high-temperature and high-pressure boiler performance are shown, and we confirmed that the boiler for the waste-to-energy power plant with stoker-type furnace had been operating stably.
