Abstract

In waste disposal plants, chemicals are sprayed to remove toxic substances, but the supply of chemicals can be temporarily interrupted due to a blockage in the chemical supply piping.

In many cases, the status of drug supply is monitored by the amount of change in the drug level, weight in the chemical tank, and it takes time to detect a blockage which increases the burden of inspection and restoration work.

Therefore, we have developed a system to determine whether or not there is an abnormality in the chemical supply condition by analyzing the non-steady noise generated when the chemical powder collides with the piping wall. This system makes it possible to detect abnormalities in a timely manner, and is expected to improve the efficiency of daily inspections.
