Analysis of the current status on information provision measures and support systems for source separation and discharge of household waste in municipalities in Hokkaido

Abstract

In recent years, an increasing number of municipalities have introduced information provision means and support systems that cater to the diversity of their residents, in addition to the traditional distribution of Japanese-language paper media, such as collection day calendars, to each household. However, there has been no comprehensive survey or analysis of the implementation status of these measures. Therefore, the objective of this study was to investigate and analyze the implementation status of information provision and support targeting diverse residents in municipalities, and to clarify the current status and issues.
