The fundamental solutions were obtained for a step-like fluid point source and instantaneous point forces acting on three directions in a fluid-saturated, porous, infinite solid of transversely isotropic elasticity and permeability. Together with the Laplace and triple Fourier transforms, Kupradze's method was employed, which allows the number of four unknown functions to be reduced to only one potential scalar function and thus the solutions to be expressed in terms of Hankel integrals with the help of residue theorem. These solutions are intended to be used to derive the integral equations for a hydraulically created crack in transversely isotropic oil/gas reservoirs.
