Abstract
Approximate solutions for static bending and free vibration of laminated composite curved panel (shell) with four edges simply supported (SS2), are presented in this paper. Transverse shear deformation is considered by using the higher-order shear deformation theory (HSDT). Through applying the Galerkin procedure to the governing equations and to the natural boundary conditions not being satisfied by the assumed solution functions, the approximate solutions are obtained. Numerical results for antisymmetric angle-ply and symmetric cross-ply and angle-ply laminated composite curved panel are presented and discussed.
