Abstract
An algorithm for tracking a free surface has been developed based on the CIP (cubic interpolated propagation) method. The Navier-Stokes equations for unsteady Newtonian flows are solved using an unstructured mesh. In this study, we propose a way of considering the change of pressure due to gas escaping from the cavity. For application to large-scale calculation, a 3D mold-filling simulation of multi-cavities with gates and a runner is demonstrated.
