Abstract
We present a numerical procedure for solutions of the equations of motion of an underwater line structure located in a uniform flow of seawater. The underwater line structure is considered as a beam structure in out formulation and the motion of a fluid is described by the tNavier-Stokes equations. The Navier-Stokes equations and the equation of motion of the underwater line structure are computed by means of the finite element method
