Abstract
SPH(Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) method is applied to impact buckling problem of circular tube. It has been shown by the experiments that there are several kinds of buckling modes, and they appear in different manner by the differences of impact velocity, mass of impact body and thickness of the circular tube. The numerical simulations are conducted by changing these parameters, and results are compared with those by experiments.
