Abstract
The velocity of the pulp-stock jet which blow out from head-box on the wire part of a paper machine is operating about ±1〜2% differ from the running speed of the wire fabric. This reason is that the pulp-fiber orientation intensity of the paper web are closely correlate with some quality characteristics of the final paper products. This paper describes the simulation results of the moving states of the pulp fibers and the pulp-fiber orientation angles using a model of the Molecular Dynamics method, assuming three patterns of shearing flow that taken into account the jet/wire speed ratios of the pulp-stock flow of the paper machine.
