Abstract
An automatic mesh generation method using a generalized mapped and frontal method combined for a general solid structure is given. The geometry of a 3D structure is created from solid and shell parts assembled. For solid or shell parts, mapped or frontal method is applied depending on the geometry to generate solid and shell elements. Some applications are demonstrated.
