Windowpane with optical multilayer coatings is able to control the color and solar energy through the window glass. Kansei of color different from each other depend on personal sensibility and emotion. Therefore, it is important to design the color according to the user's own preferences for residential usage. This paper reports on the results of regularization for inverse analysis of spectral transmission factor from color of window pane with multilayer coatings. The optimum structure of the multilayer coatings is designed to satisfy the user's sense of the color and the performance of control solar energy passing through the windowpane.
