Addon of FrontISTR to FreeCAD

抄録

FrontISTR, an open-source parallel FEM structural analysis program, has been added to FreeCAD, a free CAD software, as one of its “workbench”. Series of CAE procedures such as geometry generation by CAD, boundary condition setting, and parallel structural analysis by FrontISTR has been made to be an integrated manner, and thus, the usability of structural analysis of free environments have been advanced. In this presentation, significance of openness is discussed first, and implementation issue of the above system is described.
