Studying the reflection and diffraction of shock waves generated around complex shapes is essential to clarify the blast phenomena caused by objects. In this study, a two-dimensional circular cylinder and a flow field impinging on a three-dimensional circular cylinder were analyzed by CFD using the three-dimensional Euler equations and the immersed boundary method. As a result, we confirmed pressure distributions that qualitatively simulated the previous study and the experimental results. However, more detailed discussions on the reflection and diffraction of shock waves are needed.
