Abstract
In this study, liquefaction is simulated by using Cellular Automata (CA) method. At first, the local interaction rules among sand, water and empty cells are constructed. The parameters including in the local rules are determined from the simulation of dynamic behavior of sand cells only and the drop behavior of one sand cell in the water. By using the local rules, the behavior of sand cells can be simulated and the liquefaction also can be simulated.
