Abstract
This paper proposes two design methods of a passive dynamic absorber with robust performance. In this study, the dynamic absorber is designed from the view of feedback control. In case of first method, the controller, i.e. design parameters of the dynamic absorber, is designed by fj, synthesis method. In case of second method, we consider that a extended generalized plant is constructed by two main systems which have maximum and minimum natural frequencies in the given variable domain, and the maximum value of frequency response of the extended plant is reduced by one controller. Finally, numerical simulations show the advantages of the proposed design methods.
