Abstract
An approximate estimation and design method of a dynamic absorber using dissipation energy and dynamic stiffness of. the absorber is proposed. Dynamic stiffness of a whole system can be calculated by adding subsystem's dynamic stiffness. Amplitude 01 the dynamic stiffness. is larger than imaginary part. Then by using imaginary part of the dynamic absorber, we can estimate peak value of frequency response curve of the whole system because real part of the dynamic stiffness should be almost zero at the resonance frequency in most vibration systems. We carry out some calculation for some dynamic absorbers and calculation results shows the usefulness of the proposed method.
