Abstract
The purpose of the present investigation is to develop a small-sized bone conduction speaker by using piezoelectric vibrator. At first, The bone conduction speaker is constructed with the piezoelectric vibrator connected by rod, and rubber-weight which improve the vibration characteristics. In the experiment, the evaluations of voice articulation under masking-noise are carried out in order to examine the effectiveness of voice recognition. The experimental results show that the evaluation words could well be recognized under masking-noise, and the voice articulations are improved by using rubber-weight. In addition, the voice articulation is more improved when the bone conduction speaker is fitted in auricular cartilage.
