Abstract
Cluster control enables a target cluster to suppress without causing spillover into any other cluster. Active cluster control of vibration is useful in suppressing of the total acoustic power. This paper presents active control of sound transmission of a rectangular plate using structural modal cluster control(Active cluster control of sound transmission). The experiment is conducted, demonstrating the validity of the cluster control for suppressing the penetration of acoustic power.
